XXIO introduces the 2014 Ladies "8" LEFT HANDED Fairway Wood. It is desgined for the average lady golfer to promote maximum forgiveness and distance. Compared to the previous "7" fairway woods, it has been made slightly larger in size with a shallow face design. It is made to produce an easy high launch for maximum carrry off every shot. It features a maraging face for great distance and crisp feel at impact. It has a 4.5 gram tungsten weight that is placed in the sole of the club to lower the center of gravity. The weight is placed slightly closer to the heel to help promote a full release of the toe to achieve that high drawing ball fligh that amateurs look for. Like the previous model, the face uses a variable face thickness design, but the new "8" model has an overall thinner face. The center area is now a 2.05mm in thickness compared to the previous 2.4mm and the surrounding ares is 1.4mm. This very thin face design creates a great jump off of the face, even on slightly off center shots. The head also features a very slight offset to help square the clubface at impat. The top of the club has a unique paint job where the top line is painted slightly behind the actual club line to give it the appearance of extra loft at address. The "8" is said to be XXIO's most forviging utility to date.

It comes standard with a light weight (38-42grams) MP800L graphite shaft made for a soft and consistent feel.
