Maruman introduces the new Zeta Iron made for mazimum forgiveness and distnace for the average players. It features a completely new design for Maruman's iron line up. It features a mid size head with a deep undercut cavity back design. The head features an offset design to help square the face at impact. The iron has a unique conmination for face material to maximize each club's potential. The longer irons features a thinner maraging steel face that is 1.85mm in width to promote maximum distance while the mid/short irons feature a sligthly thicker 2.1mm maraging face to provide good distance while getting a more stable feel. The wedges feature a nickel chrome material to give it a softer feel for those approach shots around the greens.
The sole of the club also has a unique design where there are 3 diferent section with various bounce. This is a special design that was specifically calculated to be the most forgiving angles for the head to be able to flow easily through various lies. This unique design allows gives the Zeta iron a great advangate over other irons in the forgiveness category. The Zeta iron also gives each iron a slightly different CG for performance. The longer clubs have the lowest CG to help achieve the higher launch to get the ideal carry distance while the mid/shorter irons have a slightly higher CG to get strong mid/high trajectory to attack the pins. The wedges have the higest CG of the line up to produce a more penetrating flight for great precision.
The deep undercut pocket cavity helps keep a very balanced perimeter weighting to give each shot a very stable impact. It also absorbs vibrations at impact to create a consistent feel shot after shot.
The Zeta irons come standard with an NS PRO950 steel or z713 5 carbon shaft.
